On Wednesday 24 April 2019, Asharqia Chamber will be held a meeting with the Director General of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment in the Eastern Region, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalidi, in order to discuss the controls and the requirements of the hospitality and entertainment sector at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam at 12:30 pm.
Hamad Bin Mohammed Al-Boali, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Hospitality and Leisure Committee at Asharqia Chamber, said that the hospitality and entertainment sector has become a fundamental pillar of the Vision of the Kingdom of 2030, and its effects are evident in the national economy, both in terms of generating investment opportunities and increasing employment rates among the national labor forces.
Al-Boali pointed out the importance of such meetings, which will strengthen the tracks of the development and growth of the sector.
He pointed out that it includes an open dialogue on the standards and controls of promotional offers in the hospitality and entertainment sector, which is reflected positively on the leaders of the sector of their awareness of these controls and how to deal with them, especially as they support the growth of the sector on a sound basis.
The meeting, which is part of the activities and programs of the Hospitality and Recreation Committee for 2019, aims to identify the pioneers of the hospitality and entertainment sector in the Eastern Province with the controls of promotional offers and their requirements, as well as enriching dialogue and discussion on many topics related to this vital sector.
